College Bound Scholarship – The College Bound Scholarship program is an early commitment of state financial aid to who sign up in middle school and fulfill the pledge. The program encourages students who might not consider college because of the cost to dream big and continue their education beyond high school.
GEAR UP – GEAR UP helps guide middle school and high school students through the early years of college preparation. The program makes sure students have access to the people and information needed to graduate from high school and go to college.
Higher Education Readiness Opportunity (HERO) – The College Success Foundation provides support services to engage low to moderate income students to help them complete high school and to transition to higher education.
Supplemental Education and Transition Planning Program (SETuP) – The Supplemental Education Transition Planning program (SETuP) provides information to youth, foster families, and school staff about post-high school education and training opportunities for youth in foster care.
TRiO Program – The purpose of the TRiO programs is to prepare disadvantaged persons for successful entry into, retention in, and completion of postsecondary education. These programs identify low-income, first-generation college students and students with disabilities and provide them
with assistance, support and encouragement necessary to complete a postsecondary education.
Upward Bound – Provides intensive academic support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. Students must:
- Have completed the eighth grade
- Be between the ages of 13 and 19
- Enrolled in high school
- Plan to go to college
- Need services in order to fulfill their goals
